PNC122 Nursing Care of Adults II

This course continues theoretical and clinical experiences to provide the practical nursing student with entry level competencies in caring for adult clients with physical and psychosocial needs. Concepts include: hematology; integumentary system; neurologic system; genitourinary system; gastrointestinal system; endocrine; reproductive disorders, sensory disorders; oncology; and end of life care. Integrated concepts include nutrition, pharmacology, age related changes, cultural considerations, and leadership and management responsibilities.
