PHY122 General Chemistry II

General Chemistry II is the second course in the general chemistry sequence. The course includes study of chemical equilibria, acid base chemistry, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, oxidation reduction reactions, nuclear chemistry, and introduction to carbon chemistry. This course is designed for pre professional, science, and engineering majors but is open to all students who have met the prerequisite. Course includes a laboratory component.

PHY121 and MTH140 or higher (excluding MTH142 and MTH160) all with a grade C or higher.
