Moberly Area Community College Faculty Handbook 2026-2027
The common syllabus is the general document developed by MACC faculty for their respective disciplines that sets the standard by which each individual instructor’s course syllabus will be developed. Faculty may obtain the common syllabus from the office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences, the Dean of Workforce Development and Technical Education, the Dean of Health Sciences or on the College’s website within the syllabus management software portal. Faculty should use their professional judgment in wording the customizable areas of the common syllabus including section-specific details and individual instructor expectations.
All individual course syllabi must be completed using the syllabus management software within the learning management system before the start of the term. This ensures course syllabi are available to students when their semester courses open and are accessible to the deans’ offices.
