Welcome
Welcome to the Veterinary Technology program. You have become a member of an active animal care provider and dedicated team of technicians and veterinarians. Our goal is to provide each student with a positive learning experience by providing the best professional training, facility, equipment, organization, and instructors necessary to develop you into a high-quality veterinary technician. Each student’s responsibilities are fundamental to the operation of our program, and it is to our advantage to work together as a team. We all have the same goal of you becoming the best veterinary technician you can be.
This manual has been prepared to fully acquaint you with the numerous policies and procedures that must be followed to provide optimal training, patient welfare, and safety. The program director reserves the right to change the policies in any manner and at any time for the health and safety of everyone involved.
