Appendix I: Intravenous Therapy

INTRAVENOUS THERAPY

IV Therapy is a Minimum Standard as required by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for all Practical Nursing programs, Intravenous Infusion Treatment Administration, Section 20 CSR 2200-6.060. Students must pass the Intravenous Therapy course with a 78% or higher. If unsuccessful, the student will be dropped from the nursing program and assigned a grade of withdrawal for other nursing courses enrolled in for the semester.
