IT Essentials
Students learn the functionality of hardware and operating systems components. Through hands on activities and labs, students learn how to assemble and configure a computer; install operating systems, software, and printers; and troubleshoot hardware and software problems. Advanced troubleshooting and networking configuration are covered in the latter part of the course. After completion, students will develop the necessary skills to build a computer and troubleshoot networking problems. Successful completion of
ITC106
prepares students to take the A + industry certification exam.
