Mission

The mission of the Associate Degree Nursing Program is to prepare competent, professional registered nurses who deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care to diverse populations across the lifespan. Guided by the American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice, the program emphasizes clinical judgment, professional accountability, ethical practice, and interprofessional collaboration to promote health, prevent illness, and improve health outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.

The program is committed to academic excellence, access, lifelong learning, and service, supporting students in the development of knowledge, skills, and professional values necessary for entry-level registered nursing practice and successful transition into the nursing profession. The ADN program contributes to workforce development and addresses the evolving health care needs of the communities it serves.

These programs are designed to qualify the graduate for the NCLEX-RN exam.
